Jayne B. Stearns
I make art.
Like the visual artist, I begin with a blank canvas and during the creative process, apply layers of words, sentences, and paragraphs to give thought and emotion, form. Whether it’s by finding the perfect phrase that changes the aesthetics of a piece, the monochromatic reporting of a journalist summarizing the latest scientific discovery, or creating an inspirational piece with the impressionist’s eye for nuance and light, I make art.
I make word art.
Below are some examples of my work organized by subject.
